As a Account Sales Executive X3 your responsibility will be on Sales Account Management within Sage, focused on the Southern African region, ensuring not only exceptional service to these customers and partner, but also maximise Sage’s market share. Responsible for defining and driving revenue within the X3 ERP regional domain. Achieve the prescribed sales quota for the Sage X3 suite of products. This will be achieved through diligent and disciplined compliance to the regional sales strategy, NCA strategy, customer for life management strategy and supported by the regional marketing strategy. Proactively develop your sales pipeline to support achievement of the quota by effectively developing, maintaining and managing your individual sales pipeline.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Your day to day:
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by executing the prescribed sales and marketing business development strategy.
Identify and maintain accounts for New Customer Acquisition (NCA) in line with the regional sales strategy.
Manage partner opportunities from inception to completion, supporting business partners in executing sales and marketing activities.
Develop and manage a sales pipeline through site visits, lead conversion, and comprehensive needs analysis.
Present cost-benefit and needs analysis to prospects, utilizing available toolsets and Sage collateral.
Manage the delivery of product demonstrations and ensure all business requirements are addressed adequately.
Effectively manage sales opportunities in Salesforce, providing accurate forecasts and updates.
Demonstrate time management maturity by organizing and prioritizing daily and weekly goals.
Represent Sage at events, trade fairs, and sales calls, promoting the brand through active participation on social media.
Proactively manage risks and concerns, providing feedback to the Regional Sales Director.
Add a minimum of 4 Qualified Sales Opportunities (QSOs) per month to the pipeline and create a minimum of 12 leads per month.
Skills, Know-How, and Experience:
Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate across functional areas.
Previous sales experience in ERP, technology, or hardware sales at CXO engagement level.
Clear understanding of driving results and developing strategic plans.
Proven track record in influencing thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving.
Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to sell to all decision-making levels.
Continuously abreast of current trends, economic conditions, and customer-specific data.
Suitable tertiary qualification required.
5+ years' experience in a similar role and environment.
