This position assists the Temple Presidency and Recorder with operation of the temple office by: Providing an environment where patrons may have a positive and uplifting experience each time they come to the temple. Maintaining and operating temples at standards established by the First Presidency. Assist by providing necessary ordinance clothing for use in temples by patrons, workers, employees, and volunteers.
- Waits courteously on patrons to provide needed temple clothing in proper sizes. Sees that sufficient clothing is on hand to supply patrons. Tabulates rental costs and receives monies from patrons, may operate cash register
- Folds all clothing and assembles packets with robes, aprons, veils, caps and sashes.
- Operates sewing machine as assigned to size clothing, mends as necessary, and alters clothing as required. Keeps sewing room and cupboards organized and reviews inventories for reordering supplies.
- Supplies needed clothing to the baptistry as assigned.
- Operates commercial laundry equipment. Spot cleans clothing with appropriate cleaners and solutions and assists with steam pressing.
- Sorts soiled clothing and keeps work area neat, clean and orderly.
- May keep daily production records
- Performs daily preventative maintenance on laundry equipment such as routine cleaning of machinery, filters, vents and screens, etc. and performs other related duties as assigned.
- **Must be an endowed member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with a current Temple Recommend.**:

- Must be in possession of Matric, be computer literate, and have sound record keeping skills.
- Experience with cash register, and working with commercial sewing units, and laundry equipment.
- Willing to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate in English.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
