Minimum Requirements for the SHEQ Officer Position:
- 5 Years Experience in SHEQ industry in a Plant / Manufacturing / Steel and Construction environment (or similar).
- Must be medically fit.
- SAMTRAC or equivalent will suffice.
- ISO9001 and 45001 experience will be an advantage.
- Must be able to manage the SHEQ framework in his / her area of responsibility in ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, procedures and National legislation.
- Managing SHEQ through inspections, Risk Assessing tasks and processes, assisting with mitigation on risk exposure and reporting promptly on findings etc.
- Sound knowledge of the OHSA, MHSA and other general relevant regulations and legislation.
- Incident / Accident investigation qualification (ICAM/RCAT)
- Not older than 40 years
- Preferably HDA female and locally based would be great.
- Must be a spontaneous person up for a challenge with own reliable transport.
