QUALIFIED LIBRARIAN - Permanent Position (3 days per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to manage and develop the library at Disa Primary
School. We are looking for someone who is passionate about literature and who is able to encourage and inspire our learners to a culture of learning.

The successful applicant will join a friendly, welcoming team, where teachers and support staff work together to provide an enriching learning experience for learners, both within and beyond the curriculum.
- Be friendly and welcoming and able to work as part of a team
- Have a librarianship qualification and/or experience (in a school and/or with young people would be an advantage)
- Have a love of reading and literature and a good knowledge of young people’s literature
- Have a creative approach to bringing literature alive and encouraging a reading culture
- Have good administrative and organisational skills
- Have good communication and inter-personal skills
- Libwin Library Systems experience is advantageous
- Be able to integrate the use of technology

Full-time availability is required as soon as possible.
