Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team in Sandton. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with benefits and an excellent working environment.

The primary objective of the Sales Manager is to take responsibility for managing a team of sales specialists and or client managers in order to assist in the achievement of sales targets through the allocation of territories and targets resulting in outstanding sales performance. Their role is a combination of management, selling, coaching and leadership activities, with the objective of enabling their sales team to meet the sales targets assigned to them. Sales Managers exist in geographies where there are bigger sales teams and the sales management is split between the Senior Sales Manager and Sales Manager. This Sales Manager manages a team of client managers and/or sales specialists, but they are not a

departmental or divisional manager.

Manages sales directly to end-users of the organizations products or services in a large specified geographic area, or is responsible for a specific industry or product segment on a national or geographic basis. Incumbents at the Director and Senior Director level typically manage other sales managers. Incumbents at the Manager level may manage only individual contributor sales account managers and may carry their own sales quota. The incumbents level may be determined by the size of the geographic area of responsibility (e.g., region vs. district vs. branch), the size or significance of the industry or product segment for which the incumbent is responsible, or other factors.

**Requirements**:

- Drives results by collaborating with outside organizations and existing customers on mutually beneficial ideas that increase sales and profits.
- Leads Sales Organization; directs and manages all key sales initiatives.
- Provides Sales and Marketing opportunities to build credibility and credibility through verbal and written communication and relationship building.
- Creating the reports needed to track sales and the progress that is being made in the marketplace.
- Generates sales leads and closes sales opportunities.
- Develops and coordinates the sales force.
- Builds relationships with stakeholders in the business world.
- Works within the Sales Planning team and executes against assigned sales plans.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field required
- Two years of experience in a sales/business development role preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of sales management and marketing preferred.
- Must have experience leading a team to develop and implement sales strategies for new and existing clients.
- At least three years of experience as a senior level sales representative with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to sell products and services to existing customers.
- Experience in customer relationship management, CRM, and lead generation preferred.
- Must have strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to effectively market products/services to a variety of customers across multiple channels.
- Must have a strong understanding of the sales process and how to close deals.
