Your' day to day'

The Procurement Executive will support the operations and supply chain function to optimise the procurement of products and services by liaising with local departments to understand their current and anticipated demand or needs. Execute all the analysis and reporting activities, implement local sourcing strategies, optimise the supplier base, and manage supplier contracts. Monitor the sourcing activities for assigned regional categories, whether prTducts and/or services, to achieve the lowest purchasing costs (Total Cost of Ownership - TCO) for the local market while ensuring company quality standards are met by:
Internal Client Relationship Management
- Liaise with local departments and develop procurement plans for integrating the business needs into existing and future procurement activities
- Define and implement sourcing scenarios/strategies for the assigned categories. Identify, research, evaluate suppliers & negotiate terms for locally addressable spend areas to achieve the most favorable conditions
- Support departmental budget optimization. Collect and consolidate affiliate spend data and product specifications for the assigned categories to identify main cost drivers

Supplier Relationship Management
- Commercially manage new & ongoing local key suppliers' relationships to ensure that the affiliate receives satisfactory services and contribution sustainability over time
- Develop and prepare all necessary reports to support the team in the suppliers' selection process. Prepare and conduct RFIs (Request for Information), RFQs (Requests for Quotes), and RFPs (Requests for Proposals) using the related Procurement Tools
- Run, analyze and consolidate supplier performance reports based on defined critical metrics
- Identify and propose opportunities for aligning the supply base and harmonizing the products portfolio based on specifications

Market Intelligence
- Analyse and evaluate external, and local price trends, new product & service offerings, and innovative solutions to find opportunities to benefit by optimizing the spend/ budget or growing business revenue
- Execute regular maintenance of SAP material master data

Other
- Support the IMS (Indirect Materials & Services) Manager Procurement to incorporate when requested central policies, strategies, commercial methodologies, or other materials and develop local ones to optimize the affiliate's technical, quality, service, or reliability standards
- Support in setting cost-saving targets and standards of quality
- Analyse performance to identify cost-saving opportunities

Compliance, IC / SOX P&Ps:

- Monitor all SOX-related controls are performed timely

Who we're looking for?
- Relevant degree in Supply Chain/Engineering/Business Administration/Economics or a similar field
- A postgraduate diploma in procurement will be an advantage
- 3 years of working experience in procurement function within the FMCG industry
- Proven exercise with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)Act
- Computer skills requirement - SAP experience would be an advantage, Microsoft Office 365, Advanced Excel, etc.
