**Key Performance Responsibilities**:
**A. Strategic Procurement**:

- Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of commodities.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to secure the best terms and prices.
- Continuously monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance to make informed procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
- Success in this area is a clear overarching supply chain strategy with quarterly and annual objective

**B.Supply Chain Management**:

- Manage the end-to-end supply chain for commodities, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and ensure on-time delivery of commodities.
- Proactively identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.

**C. Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, addressing any issues or concerns and driving performance improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement innovative solutions, process improvements, and value-added initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies related to commodities.

**D. Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Utilize analytical tools and techniques to analyze procurement data, identify patterns, and generate meaningful insights.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance metrics, cost savings, and supplier performance to stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and optimize procurement strategies.
- Success is data-driven decision making in line with business strategy

**E. Minimum Qualifications Required**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Supply Chain Management.
- 5+ years of experience in commodity procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

**F. Experience Required**:

- Proven track record in procuring commodities, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, pricing dynamics, and risk management.
- Experience in analyzing data and generating reports to drive procurement decisions.

**G. Skills Required**:

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
