Agile Project Manager

Agile Portfolio Manager with relevant Degree/Diploma and minimum 7 years’ experience in a dedicated project management position, managing large scale programmes in the Financial Services Industry (Insurance), required to join an Insurance Company based in Centurion.

Minimum requirements:

- Relevant B-degree or Diploma (essential)
- Relevant Project Management Certification preferred
- Knowledge of relevant Project Management software and tools
- Knowledge of Project Management lifecycle, from conception to close-out
- Knowledge of agile methodology
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of products administered by the business unit will be an advantage
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a dedicated project management position essential)
- Experience with managing large-scale programmes from conceptualization to close-out essential
- Experience with managing a portfolio of work required
- 3 - 5 years in a senior management position advantageous
- Business experience - understanding of business and business processes
- Proficient understanding of the Insurance industry preferred

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide oversight to portfolio level value-driven governance for agile product deliveries
- Ensuring all initiatives are aligned to the business strategy and meet short/long term business needs and value expectations
- Drive portfolio-level information delivery and provide value risk oversight by partnering with product owners, product managers and project managers to define, analyze, and report on portfolio-level initiatives and business risks, metrics, and information related to value delivery
