Caregiver

**Role summary**:
The caregiver will perform simple/ basic nursing functions under the supervision of a Professional Nurse and Enrolled Nurse. You will be concerned mainly with assisting the nurses in giving care to the patients. You will often perform simple functions without a nurse being physically present. At other times you will help the nurse give bedside nursing care. You will perform functions and procedures relating to the personal hygiene, safety, comfort, nutrition, exercise, and elimination needs of patients. You also will perform related functions such as lifting and moving the patients, making observations, and playing an important role in the patient's psychological comfort.

**Minimum educational qualifications**:
Level 4 certificate
- A comprehensive Curriculum vitae (CV) with contactable referees
- A copy of identity document
