**Role summary**:
The Enrolled Nurse provides patient care according to assessed and monitored individual needs, under the direction of the Professional Nurse and will supervise activities of the Caregivers.

**Task summary**:

- Provide quality patient care in accordance with current Nursing Care Plans.
- Follow instructions and accept direction as required.
- Administer and document patient medications and prescribed treatment accurately.
- Report any changes in a patient’s condition to the Professional Nurse on duty for review.
- Work independently, without close supervision, as required.
- Communicate effectively with staff and patients.

**Essential**:

- Registered with SANC
- Shift work
