**The opportunity**:
We are currently seeking highly motivated **Data Analyst - Analytics and Reporting to **support the Reliability department. The incumbent will be responsible for analysing vast amounts of data to uncover hidden patterns, harnessing the power of data by converting raw numbers into actionable strategies and presenting insights critical to efficiency and innovation.

**About the Role / Key Responsibilities**
- Serve as an analytics expert in the design, development and implementation of best-in-class reporting and analytics solutions.
- Create and deliver reliable insights from data by improving visualization, transparency, and storyboarding.
- Improve existing analysis techniques by promoting new methodologies and best practices in data science and analysis.
- Ensure data quality for work performed by other data analysts, data engineers, other relevant stakeholders and self.
- Demonstrate execution ability in managing multiple medium to large analytics projects in a team environment comprising multiple disciplines across locations and time zones across the globe.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Geology, Industrial Engineering or a similar field.
- Project Management Certification (PMI-PM, Agile, Prince-2)
- Data Engineering Certification (Azure, IBM, AWS, Google, Databricks, SnowPro)
- At least 5 years' experience as a Data Analyst within mining operations.
- At least 5 years' experience in change program, digital project management and strategy implementation.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Working knowledge of workplace safety management.
- Proven ability for strategic and analytical thinking.
- Proven ability to organize work, set priorities and demonstrate great independence of judgment.
- Skill in team management.
