Warehouse Supervisor

We require a Warehouse supervisor to control outward bound orders together with a team of fellow supervisors, ensuring the correct picking, checking and despatch of orders, timeously to all customers.

**Responsibilities**

Supervise and personally participate in warehouse functions in compliance with company’s policies and procedures.

Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

Manage stock control and reconcile with accounting system.

Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Liaise with Suppliers and Customers to monitor and arrange receiving and despatch

**Requirements**:
Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor with contactable references of the people you reported to from current and previous employers, who are currently still employed at your previous employer

Must have exceptional attention to detail, and must be able to work under pressure.

This position requires a fair level of fitness as it involves counting and checking stock, managing staff and vehicles such as forklifts in a large multi
- building facility, both indoors and outdoors.

Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

Strong knowledge of warehousing

Hands on experience with Sage Evolution or similar program.

1. Microsoft Excel - Must be able to do the minimum four functions in Excel, to add, multiply, divide and minus data from the same sheets and other sheets in a fast fashion. Know well how to add data to spreadsheets without interfering with the structure of the sheet or creating errors in existing formulations or data.

2. Must be able to use a smart phone or tablet for scanning and checking purposes.

Leadership skills and ability to manage staff

Must have either own transport or reliable transport. This company is based in Chloorkop, Kempton Park.

Pay: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
