The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for protecting the company’s revenues, profits and cash-flows to achieve full financial control and performance, and sustainable growth.

As a member of the Cerba Lancet Africa Leadership Team, he/she is participating in key decisions, and is responsible for identifying risks and opportunities behind financial data, as well as for designing and implementing the company’s financial strategy and framework.

**Your missions**

**Financial planning and operations**:

- Manage, federate and develop the Finance teams across the different legal entities
- Overseeing the accounting processes including Taxation, Cash Management, Revenue Recognition & Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Inventory Accounting
- Own and manage the financial reporting processes; develop performance measures and monitoring systems across all Cerba Lancet Africa legal entities
- Own and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop models and conduct analyses that identify critical trends, support strategic decision making and create forward visibility
- Ensure compliance with Cerba Healthcare Group reporting guidelines and deadlines
- Optimise financial processes and tools across financial departments to foster efficiency
- Drives the implementation of key Finance information systems
- Manage and optimise inter-company transactions
- Participate in acquisition due diligence and manage financial implications of integrations and acquisitions
- Drive change and transformation within the organization through robust financial analysis and strong business partnering; implement best practices

**Risk Management**:

- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
- Construct and monitor reliable control systems
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Report risk issues to the senior management
- Maintain relations with internal and external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

**Funding & Financing**:

- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
- Optimise cash flow
- Monitor investment requests

**Representation**:

- Represent Cerba Lancet Africa at Cerba Healthcare Group level
- Represent Cerba Lancet Africa with any external stakeholders

**Profil**:
**The ideal applicant would be**:

- 10 years of work experience as a CFO including partnering with an executive team
- Familiarity with complex African operating parameters - tax, cash extraction, governance, risk management
- Experience in working in an international context, in a multi-country, multi-regulations, multi-systems environment **within companies with an interest in medical biology / health.**:

- Proven experience in business transformation
- Proven track record of successful Finance information systems implementation
