The job description entails fulfilling the role as an **HR Generalist**.

**Duties**:
1. Prepare paperwork and schedules for onboarding processes, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional recruitment process.

2. Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, recruitment orientations and exit interviews

3. Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees that covers absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters.

4. Be the primary backup for payroll processing, including, including biweekly and semimonthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, annual leave, sick leave, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations and benefit changes.

5. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

6. Advise on Labour Relations issues.

7. Coordinate disciplinary inquiries, appeal hearings, grievance hearings. Assist managers in counselling sessions with staff.

8. Conduct leave processing and leave management.

9. Maintain employee filing

10. Coordinate training activities/schedules. Keep track of SDL

**Requirements**:
1. 5 years proven work experience as an HR Administrator/ Generalist or alternately 2 years experience with an HR related qualification

2. Hands-on experience with HRIS

3. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems

4. Solid understanding of Labour Legislation and Payroll Processes

5. Familiarity with full cycle recruiting

6. Excellent verbal and written communicational skills

7. Good problem-solving abilities

8. Team management skills

9. Ability to mentor and coach

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: R20 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parow, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
