**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Attendance at all formal school events as indicated by the Head of the College.
- Organization of field trips.
- Organizing guest speakers and presenters as relates to the field of Afrikaans.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Have a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
- Be registered with SACE.
- Have a strong connection with teenagers.
- Have proven excellence in teaching Afrikaans.
- Be energetic and proactive.
- Exhibit strong communication skills.
- Enjoy supporting and contributing to the success of teams.
- Live with high standards and seek consistent improvement over time.
- Have excellent administration skills and a ready attention to detail.
- (Preferably) have experience of teaching the IEB curriculum
- Be ready to contribute to the extra-mural (afternoon) programme.
- Be willing to organise / attend camps as per school requirements
- Be available for Regional and National conferences or other training as required
- Have experience or, or a willingness to join IEB marking and moderation panels.
