Associate Financial Adviser - Discovery
Location: Rand Park Ridge & Sea Point Cape Town
Reporting to Franchise Principal
Remuneration: R20 000 - R35 000 & commission
About the Role:

3> years financial planning
Discovery product accreditations
Discovery Smart Advice and other tools proficient
RE5
Class of business
Full industry related qualification
Reliable vehicle
Key Traits:

- Time management and workflow must be impeccable -Must be detail orientated, conscientious and organised -Adaptability. Must be able to work with a panel of different Advisors -Discovery product knowledge required -Discovery system experience needed (FAZ, Smart Advice) -Will need to work under pressure at times.

Overview of duties:
Staying up to date on product changes and enhancements
Staying up to date on the financial planning industry and new trends
Client Information gathering Consolidating and re-structure of a client's existing portfolio
Compiling a financial needs analysis based on information gathered
Meeting with clients at their convenience.

Ability to plan across all product lines including:

- Life
- Disability
- Severe Illness
- Income Protection
- Retirement
- Investment goals
- Preparing various quotations based on FNA findings.
- Replacement analysis and comparisons between existing products and new proposed products.
- Assisting Advisor with RAR using analysis above
- Completing, documenting, and preparing a financial assessment for the Advisor to present to their client.
- Servicing changes on existing client base -Finalising servicing quotes
- Preparing summary for of proposal for review by Advisor and client
- Re - iterating the DRO value proposition and need for vitality engagement.
- Requesting Astutes and transferring information to client policy schedules
- Requesting information from external sources where necessary
- Assisting Advisor with Record of Advice to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Preparing review of clients existing portfolio, making suggestions to Advisor.
- Transferring quotes data to excel and or PowerPoint.
- General reporting and planning as required by Advisors
- Liaising with PA and Advisor to ensure that we offer holistic, best advice, financial planning to our clients with excellent client service.
