Core Description
To formulate tactical partnerships within the HR function, and with Executive/ Senior Management level employees in the assigned Business Unit (i.e., CPS / DPS / ConCom / CSO / SS), to deliver value-add people solutions and services. The role is responsible for providing tactical guidance for people processes within the assigned BU and to implement HR/ Business solutions and services that support the Business Unit specific objectives, while aligning to the overarching HR/ Business Strategy of the assigned BU and objectives of BCX. Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
- Plan the implementation of tactical solutions and initiatives aligned to the HR/ Business strategy, to achieve key BU objectives (i.e., CPS / DPS / ConCom / CSO / SS) and HR/ Business goals, in accordance with the overarching HR/ Business strategy.
- Provide the Strategic People Lead with tactical input into the overarching HR/ Business strategy by highlighting and feeding back tactical trends, operational realities, and key BU priorities from the assigned BU to close any strategic gaps and ensure continuous alignment with the overarching HR/ Business strategy.
- Create an enabling environment within the assigned BU that will empower Executive/ Senior Management level employees to take charge of their careers through the implementation of tools, processes, and support mechanisms.
- Drive the HR/ Business digital transformation agenda and the associated behavioural and technological adoption and pivoting required of the assigned BU, through leveraging technology for HR/ Business impact, to appropriate the transformation of people practices within the BU.
- Contribute to the creation of a receptive environment within the assigned BU by increasing the awareness of Executive/ Senior Management level employees towards the tactical use and benefit of new technological solutions.
- Identify and advise the Strategic People Lead and all Executives/ Senior Managers on the people-centric needs and tactical solutions required by the assigned BU, by building useful partnerships across the HR/ Business and BU ecosystems and using digital analytics for decision making and proactive risk management.
- Plan and execute the identified Talent Acquisition initiatives (e.g., recruitment, selection, development, HIPO and key role talent and dependencies within the BU), in collaboration with the Talent Optimisation team, to build a high-performing BU that can deliver on key BU objectives, timeously.
- Plan and implement tactical people interventions within the assigned BU by prioritising HR/ Business interventions, for optimal impact.
- Ensure people information credibility through a consistent drive for data accuracy, across the employee lifecycle.
- Utilise and cascade information and data dashboards at all Executive/ Senior management levels within the assigned BU, to plan and inform the HR/ Business tactics and initiatives to be implemented regarding Performance, Succession, Learning and Development opportunities, and recommend tactical people-centric solutions, tailored to the assigned BU’s specific needs.
- Plan and deliver on all HR/ Business practices and services within the assigned BU, with a focus on the amplification of the Employee Experience and by managing HR service delivery, at a high standard of operational excellence.
- Plan the implementation of defined HR/ Business strategies, initiatives, programmes, and solutions within a specific BU by collaborating with the Strategic People Leader, People Partners, all relevant stakeholders, and strategic Talent Leaders.
- Monitor market trends to plan the implementation of the latest HR/ Business operations, tools, practices, digital innovations, and people solutions, to catalyse BCX’s transformation.
- Support the Strategic People Lead in the development and implementation of targeted BU specific initiatives and/or business plans, to implement the delivery of HR/ Business Solutions and Initiatives relating to the BU's Commercial Strategy, financial performance, and associated targets.
Minimum 7 Years’ experience in an HR Business Partner, Leadership Development, Leadership Acceleration, Talent Acquisition or Talent Management environment, within a large organisation, of which at least 2 Years on Tactical/ People Lead level.

Minimum 9 Years’ experience in an HR Business Partner, Leadership Development, Leadership Acceleration, Talent Acquisition or Talent Management environment, within a large organisation, of which at least 2 Years on Tactical/ People Lead level.
