Pricing Analyst I

Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

Annual Parts Contract re-pricing and quarterly Rate of Exchange adjustments;
Annual re-pricing of the standard parts list price;
Responsible for achieving correct selling margins;
Attend regular parts contract negotiations with customers;
Use sales trends to recommend pricing policy adjustments to management;
Ensure that all proposed contracts comply with company contract policy;
Ensure that pricing contracts are valid and adhered to, where applicable;
Ensure that the approval route for any changes in pricing of spares is sound and involves the minimum authorizations that are appropriate; and
Ensure that proposals are produced to a high professional standard. And aid the business in promoting sales.

Minimum Skills required

Degree in related field, plus 5 years of related experience is essential;
Must have high level of numeracy and analysis (also able to manipulate spreadsheets);
Comprehensive understanding of profit/loss and pricing metrics;
Knowledge of SAP MRP module is essential;
Computer literate in MS office suit (Advanced Excel); and
Valid driver’s license and own transport.

Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships; and
Must demonstrate high end analytical and numeric skills.
