- Fully qualified with relevant qualifications in counselling, social work and or psychology
- Be registered with SACSSP, HPCSA or other Health Professions Council
- Experienced in counselling girls between the age of 3 and 13 years
- Must be able to build relationships of trust with the pupils, parents and staff of Springfield
- Commitment to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and pupils
- Be willing to offer workshops, training and initiate programmes such as Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Social Justice to the Springfield Community
- Be willing to undertake Emotional Intelligence (EQ) classroom lessons as part of the school’s internal SEL programme
- Be willing to run Community Engagement programmes within the school the Catholic network and our broader community
- Have effective organisational and administrative skills
- Understand, identify with and contribute to the Catholic / Christian ethos and values of the school
