I am looking for a Jack / Jane of all trades to support me across all aspects of my business activities. I am based in Zürich but have been living in Cape Town for almost 10 years. I have various business interests and properties in Cape Town, therefore, I am looking for an EA based in Cape Town to work with me within the European time zone.

I am involved in a wide range of businesses which is exciting but also challenging. Of course my involvements change over time, however, the following description of current projects will give you a good idea of some of the projects you would be working on.
- **CXO** - I provide C-level support to various companies including a sports technology company based in Zürich with a team decentralized across various countries including an office in Cape Town.
- **Advisory** - I am also an advisor / board member to various companies. For example, I am currently advising a leading Swiss company in expanding its operations to South Africa and setting up a local office there.
- **Investor** - I am always looking for interesting investment opportunities and have seed-funded various startups incl. a health-tech business in Kenya, a productivity software startup in California or a travel-tech company based in Switzerland.
- **Travel** - I love creating exciting experiences for my friends and family, whether it is a bike ride through an exotic destination or a camp at Burning Man, I spend a lot of time organizing and executing various travel experiences.
- **Conservation** - I am very passionate about nature and wildlife and I am busy exploring the opportunity to launch a larger conservation project in South Africa. We are still in the exploration phase but this is an area I will be focusing more and more time on.

**Your role will include**, but will not be limited to the following:

- Project Management - I have a tendency to stretch myself too thinly and therefore need support in managing my various projects and responsibilities.
- Research - Whether it is a potential new project or an investment, a lot of my decision making requires detailed information on a wide range of topics.
- Presentation - A large part of work is about communicating to different stakeholders and creating presentations form a big part of that - a good eye for design is most welcome
- Communication - Organizing meetings, updating various stakeholders across different projects, updating project plans, drafting updates and summaries.
- Recruiting - Finding talent is a key success factor in any business and oftentimes I proactively search for talented new team members via LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Travel support - Support me in researching, planning and booking trips, whether for business or private purposes.
- Property Management - I own properties in Cape Town and struggle to manage my tenants remotely. You would be their first point of contact whenever they need anything.
- you are a fast learner and always keen to expand your horizon. Ideally, you have graduated from a top university with a relevant degree.
- have an outgoing personality with excellent communication skills and enjoy connecting with people in different parts of the world
- are very reliable, well organized and detail-oriented. In our world, the devil is always in the details.
- are very discrete and understand what information to treat confidentially, for example legal or financial information regarding a particular business.
- are keen to learn new productivity tools. Having experience with Google products (incl. Google Slides, Google Spreadsheets and Google Documents) is a big plus.
- speak English as your first language, you are fluent in writing and speaking. Any additional languages (e.g German, French or Spanish) are a plus but not required.
