**Job Purpose**

To contribute towards reporting, insights and processes that drive strategic decision-making, communication, cascading and execution tracking for the Nedbank CIB business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Focused research and analysis to assist in providing direction for the strategic positioning of the cluster by identifying growth areas, areas to enhance finance returns or areas

to better manage
- Produce targeted reports/presentations that summarise findings and recommendations in order to inform senior management decision-making by collecting and analysing data timeously.
- Solve client needs and drive the strategy for the business by analysing and interpreting data on strategic issues and business-related challenges faced by Nedbank CIB.
- Research and analyse queries by consulting with different stakeholders across Nedbank to deliver timeous and accurate resolutions.
- Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction.
- Minimise risk and enhance customer satisfaction by developing embedded reporting processes and ensuring they are aligned with Nedbank standards.
- Support the achievement of the business strategy; objectives and values by reviewing Nedbank and cluster plans and ensuring delivered systems; process; services and solutions are aligned.
- Assist in the creation; maintenance and coordination of team effectiveness and disciplines through collaboration with stakeholders to enhance the actions and appropriateness of execution.
- Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes (e.g. strategy formulation processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations.
- Develop content that clearly communicates the CIB strategy and periodic plan for internal CIB and group audiences
- Develop content that positions CIB strategically to external parties
- Compile ad hoc and periodic reporting on CIB strategic execution progress and business performance
- Assist with the compilation as well as tracking of CIB’s performance indicators and progress
- Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank.
- Identify various stakeholder requirements and collaborate across divisions in order to achieve common purpose.
- Respond timeously and professionally to a variety of ad hoc business requests that have an impact across the division and organisation.
- Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management.
- Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.
- Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
- Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy.
