**Luxury Self-Catering apartments & suites seeks an Accommodation Manager to manage the Housekeeping & Maintenance departments.**:

- Ensure all regulatory obligations relating to carrying out operational duties are completed.
- Minimize severity or frequency of accidents of contractors and maintenance personnel through risk identification process.
- Review weekly maintenance schedule.
- Ensures that all reports associated with the department are accurate and produced on time.
- Demonstrate exceptional level of professionalism, maturity and emotional intelligence at all times
- Ensure uniforms, linen and towelling and all relevant operating equipment is controlled and sufficient for hotel needs.
- Managing Room Policy to ensure that all relevant standards are maintained.
- Maintains excellent relationships with Hotel guests and staff
- Ensures that all laws, regulations, licenses and policies pertaining to the operation of the department are adhered to
- Address concerns and reviews with the housekeeping/maintenance employees
- Review and assign work to all housekeeping/maintenance employees.
- Maintain schedule compliance and priority according to health and safety procedures.
- Complete housekeeping/maintenance jobs in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency.
- Streamline associated repair costs and job execution.
- Ensure prompt repairs by responding to emergency breakdowns.
- Supply reporting to the manager on repair jobs including consumption of tools, materials, man hours and skills.
- Handling of guest laundry and room linen, this will include leasing with linen controller and laundry manager.
- Review equipment history files.

**Job Specification**:

- Three years’ experience in a similar position is an advantage.
- Diploma in hospitality management or equivalent in experience
- Computer Literacy (Word, Excel & Microsoft Outlook)
- Knowledge of our PMS is an advantage.
- Must be guest service driven.
- People’s person and a team player
- Work accurately under pressure
- Must be a good organizer, self-disciplined, loyal, and dedicated.
- excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and able to work weekend duty manager shifts alternate weeks.
