**Job Description - Small Works Supervisor - Fire Systems**:

**Description**:

- This position requires an experienced Small Works Supervisor who is competent in the key areas of planning, scheduling, co-ordination, of small works teams. To effectively ensure that the client\\'s requirements are met, the jobs is completed on time and within budget and that site teams in the Small Works department is doing their job properly and ensure that they have the material, vehicles, access equipment, relevant documents and all SHEQ related requirements to effectively execute their work.**Responsibilities**:
- Receive orders c/w job numbers from office manager.
- Communicate site attendance and duration of jobs with clients.
- Timeously schedule staff & transport for jobs as communicated to clients.
- Arrange material for scheduled jobs as per “Small works ordering procedure”
- Requisition manufacturing if needed from the manufacturing department for scheduled jobs as per “manufacturing request procedure”
- If needed arrange access equipment to be on site as per schedule.
- Ensure that relevant job specific company documents be completed by site staff during job and afterward.
- Arrange safety files and documents with safety department as required by clients.
- Communicate and assist with quotes requests by clients.
- Help to develop processes and procedures and improve productivity
- Implement and maintain company procedures and policies
- Uphold and maintain company disciplinary code
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Visit sites and meet with clients regularly
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand to be communicated to the procurement officer weekly.
- Manage jobs as cost effective as possible and within budget.
- Monitor market and company pricing report findings to sales department
- Communicate and coordinate with all other departments effectively.
- Track movements and condition of company assets

- Report all client complaints or situations/risks with potential to harm the companies reputation or cause damage

- Proven working experience in a supervisory role (min 5 years in fire industry)
- Business sense
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Working experience of MS projects
- Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions
- Leadership capabilities

- Knowledge of fire detection systems
- ASIB 101
