Data Analyst

**Job Advert Summary**:
The Data Analyst is responsible for collating and analysing category range data, both in the reporting of micro space KPIs and to support ranging decisions and category reviews. They are also responsible for tracking and reporting on micro space and range governance, master data quality and conformance to ranging and merchandising business rules. The Data Analyst works closely with the Assortment and Space Planners and Category buying teams, supporting them with insights derived from the category metadata and KPI data. The data Analyst is responsible to maintain a register of range change activity (e.g. listing / de-listing approvals, national Exit pipeline etc.) and to report on the evolution of our offer across store archetypes.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Timely reporting of range and assortment KPIs

Timely production of range review supporting data packs

Timely reporting of range and assortment evolution across store archetypes

Micro space governance: Range, assortment and planograms are correctly aligned and planogram conformance and accuracy is regularly reported.

Ranging data governance: Ranging master data is regularly and accurately reported, and corrective action taken.

Create monthly reports and dashboards that include all components that impact on the category performance

Present/highlight the findings and recommend workable solutions that will optimize performance and efficiencies within the various assortment and ranging components

**Minimum Requirements**:
Relevant Commercial Degree

2 - 3 years retail experience

Strong Advanced Excel Skills

Proficiency in SAP and BW

Affinity for numbers
