The **Claims Manager** is responsible for a diversified portfolio of claims, liaising directly with Clients and brokers, is responsible for claims administration and Managment, co-ordinating and overseeing all actions on claims submitted.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Investigate claims by reviewing assessment reports and documents submitted
- Make appropriate settlement recommendations in line with policy conditions
- Liaise with internal Clients and Insurance House
- Manage expectations proactively and ensure that all communication is completed within an appropriate timeframe
- Comply with SLA conditions at all times

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
- Insurance related qualification (NQF Level 4 minimum)
- 5+ years experience in Short Term insurance claims environment
- Good knowledge and interpretation of insurance contracts
- Valid South African ID

**SKILLS**
- Experience in high volume process management
- Computer Literate (MS Office Package)
- High Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication (verbal & written)
- Good interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong client service orientation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Boksburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
