**Inherent requirements**:

- Matric
- 3 to 4 years’ experience in a call centre in Health and Safety Training
- Experience in developing leads and researching potential clients
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Excellent negotiation and selling skills
- Excellent people skills
- Reporting skills

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Contact existing and prospective clients to upsell health and safety short courses
- Recommend and select products for customers based on their individual needs
- Follow up on leads generated from the Sales Representatives and Regional Managers
- Source new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals
- Source potential customers through networking, cold calling, and industry research to increase sales
- Actively match the needs of the client with the features and benefits of the product
- Provide clients with relevant product and service information
- Achieve monthly sales, compliance, and quality targets
- Identify and respond to the customer needs from all demographics, delivering a high quality and professional service to these customers
- Complete administrative tasks such as processing, recording sales and completing reports as needed
