We require the services of a forensic investigator, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in forensic investigations. To have practical experience in the fieldwork execution to include drafting findings.

**The duties/ work output entails**:

- Ensure that the performance on the engagement is based on the understanding of the scope as per the engagement letter/ client instruction.
- Ensure the execution of the client brief in line with the investigation methodology and procedures aligned to the terms of reference, policies and risks identified.
- Be able to gather, analyse and evaluate relevant evidence as per engagement scope.
- Maintain a clear chain of evidence.
- Ensure meticulous administration of filing system.
- Execute on fieldwork by identifying anomalies aligned to the expected standards as per engagement scope.
- Review of existing and other service provider work outcome as it relates to the scope of the engagement, i.e. internal investigation reports.
- Draft minutes of consultations and keep appropriate records of same.
- Prepare a detailed working paper and reference the findings accordingly.
- Draft the anomalies into findings and incorporate into a draft report format.
- Prepare the portfolio of evidence alongside fieldwork.
- Ensure completeness of fieldwork as per engagement scope.
- Perform self-monitoring of activities according to timelines - weekly deliverables and monthly reporting.
- Familiar with attending to and clearing of review notes/comments and or queries efficiently.

**Work escalation**:

- Forensic staff to escalate all fieldwork or execution challenges timeously for resolutions to the project lead.
- Any issue involving the engagement must be escalated immediately to the project lead to maintain professionalism.

**Project Management considerations**:

- Complete the assigned task efficiently and accurately as per the set targets.
- Communicate any challenges to meeting the set targets accordingly.
- Timesheets to be completed to indicate billable time versus deliverables
- task description to match deliverables / work output.
- Timesheets submitted for review by Friday, review notes clear where applicable and sent to the business no later than Monday morning.
- Travel and accommodation arrangements to be arranged 5 days prior the scheduled travel time.

**Salary**: R20,000.00 per month
