Key Purpose

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Manage and participate in scoping and planning workshops.
- Maintain Scope of Work, and Project Plans.
- Ensure delivery of project deliverables within the agreed time, cost and quality.
- Ensure that project milestones are met.
- Issue resolution and management.
- Management of project risks
- Scope change control.
- Coordinate and Manage meetings according to the agreed schedule and format.
- Compile status reports within area of responsibility.
- Manage the quality of the project output.
- Mentor and guide the project team where required.
- Adhere to the prescribed Project Management standards, templates and code of conduct.
- Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal
- Manage change across multiple projects and monitor it
- Working with partners and different business units
- Developing and managing budgets
- Projects Benefits Realization
- Sound understanding of insurance products and processes and competitive advantage
- Strong understanding of IT processes and methodologies

Education
- Matric (Essential)
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Advantageous)
- Project management Qualification (Essential)

Experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in Project Management evnvironment
- Minimum 4 years experience in managing projects in an IT environment
- Must have a proven record managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous Exco stakeholder management advantageous
- Agile method experience (advantageous)
- PM accreditation (advantageous)
- ITIL training and\or experience (advantageous)
- Enterprise Project Management Tool experience (advantageous)
