**Core Description**:
Data owner and accountable for Data Governance within Gyro. Responsible for all master data related activities that includes Data Governance Planning, Data Ownership and Stewardship, Data Governance Processes, Data Policies and Data Standards as well as data related activities during implementation of Gyro technology solutions. Accountable for master data management of all Gyro technology solutions to cater for business operations, reporting and analytics requirements. Managing, controlling and successful data take-on within Gyro technology solutions and integration to external vendor solutions. Define and manage the data custodian approach and frameworks aligned to technology solution strategy. Provide inputs into the development and implementation of Gyro Technology Solution strategy, approach, architecture and planning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Data Owner for Gyro ensuring Data Champions and Data Governance Structures are in place for Gyro.
- Develop and manage the Data Governance Plan of Gyro ensuring Data Strategy is defined, data governance roadmap exist and being executed within Gyro.
- Accountable to nominate Data Stewards within functional areas within Gyro, ensure CRES Data Reports/ Categories are assigned to Data Stewards and ensure Data Steward functions are understood and executed.
- Develop and maintain the master data framework for Gyro solutions including the data validation criteria for functional areas within Gyro.
- Develop master data implementation approach and standards, implementation of the flight plan and journey map aligned to Gyro timelines.
- Define and enforce data governance and standards.
- Manage the master data repositories for all Gyro solutions.
- Data Migration: Define a process to extract data where applicable, cleanse, transform and load data into Gyro Solutions including integration with vendor solutions.
- Data Standards: Put in place data standards and validations to ensure the data is correct and consistent across all Gyro Solutions.
- Data Process: Put in place data maintenance processes to ensure the data is managed as a corporate asset.
- Design Gyro data requirements to support business processes for the required capabilities, achieve the business requirements and support best breed technology.
- Assist with KPI definition per Gyro stream based on available data.
- Assist with creations and presentation of proposals with business cases for review by Gyro executive and senior leaders for prospective, new and expansion technology solutions projects.
- Provide inputs for the translation of Gyro strategic intent into business processes, business requirements, business rules, data requirements, data design and ultimately solution implementation.
- Provide technology thought leadership within Gyro and representation of Gyro within Telkom and external market.
- Provide inputs into define and manage Gyro#s Solutions landscape, costing, licenses and production maintenance and support.
- Assist with the analyze, design, implement, monitor and continuously improve Gyro technology solution landscape.
- Support development of year on year business plans for technology solutions.
- Build and develop an effective working relationship throughout the Gyro team, communicate the technology capability and needs throughout Gyro and match supply and demand.
- Managing complex and strategic relationships (internal and external) to ensure technology alignment of Gyro with rest of Telkom companies.
- Stakeholder Engagements (Gyro, clients, ARCHIBUS, BCX, vendors) for technology solutions.
