A suitably qualified and experienced **Receptionist **is available at our Client's offices, based in Woodstock

The person will be responsible for all duties related to reception and assist with sales administration, being the first interface between the company and external as well as internal customers.

Herewith an outline of this role:
**Process Incoming and Outgoing Calls**
- Operate telephone switchboards and consoles to; connect, or hold, or transfers telephone calls.
- Determine the nature of enquiries and provide general information.
- Connect calls to required extension or redirect calls to another extension during busy periods.
- Provide external connections for staff.
- Dialling external numbers.
- Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges

**Receive and Relay Oral and Written Messages**
- Obtaining information from caller.
- Recording messages in message books.
- Dispatching messages to appropriate persons.
- Relaying oral messages to appropriate persons.

**Receive and Direct Visitors**
- Request visitor’s identification.
- Establish purpose of visit.
- Notify appropriate persons.
- Direct or accompany visitor to correct location.
- Ensure visitors complete the visitors register

**Administration**
- Consolidate Sales reports for National and Regional reporting
- Submissions of Sales remuneration information
- Coordinate Sales Training and related administration
- Skynamo checks + month end report
- Good News Mailers
- Send meeting requests
- Marketing material allocations into branches
- Consolidate Fuel usage slips to send to Logistics Manager
- Assist with Sales Consultant Induction process

**Critical skills**:

- Proficient in MS Office (must have used Word & Excel at intermediate level)
- Must have good telephone etiquette.
- Ability to listen and interpret information accurately.
- Planning, organising and numerical skills
- Good Communication Skills are essential; person must be well spoken and fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
- A pleasant and controlled manner of dealing with people at all times.
- Strong administrative skills and organisational abilities
- Ability to follow specified procedures in the completion of their duties
- The ability to present themselves and the Company in a professional manner
- The ability to thoroughly handle multiple tasks at once
- Ability to work independent of supervision and to take initiative
- The ability to approach problem solving creatively

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Matric / NQF 4 / Recognition of prior learning
- 2 - 3 years’ relevant receptionist and admin experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R11,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodstock, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)
