**Responsibilities**:

- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair various instrumentation equipment used in the mining industry.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in instruments, control systems, and communication networks.
- Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accurate measurement and proper functionality.
- Develop and maintain documentation for instrument maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize instrument performance and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all instrument technician activities.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the mining or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of instrument calibration, repair, and maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes challenging mining environment.
