**purpose**:
To develop a strategic plan for Benefits and those aspects of benefits that add to the employee value proposition, collaborating with business and Human Capital (HC) leaders to build a sustainable business, aligned to FirstRand Group (FRG) strategy and to anticipate future FRG needs and lead the design of fit-for-purpose, workforce-centric and integrated employee benefits solution to orchestrate collaborative effort across the Group and externally, enabling business challenges to be addressed and by ensuring that FirstRand’s benefit offering is competitive and industry leading
**experience and qualifications**:
- Minimum Qualification - Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Experience - 10 to 12 years experience in a similar environment with similar responsibilities in reward, employee benefits and global remuneration
- Additional Knowledge - End to end knowledge of the full human capital value chain e.g., organisational development, organisational design, talent management, performance management, reward and benefits, talent sourcing, wellness, industrial relations, policy and learning and development
- Strong knowledge of key pieces of legislation and HR e.g., Labour Law, Basic Conditions of Employment, etc.
