**Job Title**
- Senior Manager Transaction Management Unit (JR126315)**Job Purpose**
- To drive the optimisation of the day-to-day operations in the Transaction Management Unit (TMU) through increased operational efficiency and improved client experience. To drive a digital culture shift, innovation, and optimisation of the TMU processes through digitisation. To ensure an effective control environment and manage compliance requirements to minimise operational risk and identify and mitigate risk by adhering to the risk framework principles and ensuring sustainable business through alignment of business structures, systems, processes, and people.**Responsibilities**:

- Drive the ‘Digital First’ strategy creating cohesion between segment, channel, and relevant products
- Drive the required change intervention to deliver on solutions implemented to ensure ROI for the enterprise
- Establish and manage relevant governance and compliance structures so that relevant risks & issues are appropriately monitored, managed and mitigated for relevant products
- Create a gold-standard client experience by designing capabilities (including KPIs) that meets client expectations whilst deploying existing resources (systems, time, people) in innovative ways by reviewing and enhancing business work methods to improve efficiencies by focussing on standardisation and automation.
- Foster innovation by driving and meeting client growth demands by streamlining engineering practises through digitisation, process optimisation and efficient deal management for relevant product portfolios.
- Manage team effectively and efficiently across the HR value chain including recruitment, performance management, retention of critical staff, succession planning, coaching and talent management.
- Manage performance of direct reports and hold them accountable for managing the performance of their employees
- Collaborate with CIB Transactional Services Product in optimising and investing in key technology, systems and processes to continuously drive productivity, synergies, future opportunities and efficiencies as per the agreed product priority backlog.
- Ensure an effective control environment based on regulatory compliance, risk management, market conduct and other business process obligations to ensure alignment with independent audit controls.
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification- Advanced Diploma/National 1st Degrees in relevant business-related fields e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics
- Honours Degree in relevant business-related field(s) and/or relevant certification.
- Minimum Experience Level- 10 years + experience in financial services focused on Middle Office, Support, Client Operations
- 5 - 10 years + management experience
