Delegating work and management of Laboratory Technicians and -Assistants
- Ensuring that Quality documents, SOP’s, Test reports and related laboratory documentation are current
- Procurement of test equipment and laboratory consumables
- Strong Knowledge of SANAS 17025 accreditation requirements.
- Capture current test results for all areas of operation in the lab and perform preliminary analysis
- Working knowledge of Sabita Manuals 35,33 and 19, TRH21, Colto/COTO Standard Specifications as well as all specialized testing required in these manuals as per Manual 39
- Evaluate service and quality standards
- Monitoring and reporting on testing for continuous improvement and/or corrective process identification

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Matric or equivalent
- National diploma in Civil Engineering advantageous
- At least 3 years supervisory/management experience
- Hands on experience with SANAS 17025 accreditation systems and auditing is advised and will be advantageous
