**Purpose of the Role**:
The Data Operations Manager plays a critical role in managing and overseeing data operations within The Unlimited International. This position requires a deep understanding of data management principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to optimize data-related processes. The Data Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of data while driving operational efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Data Management Strategy:

- Develop and implement comprehensive data management strategies and frameworks to ensure efficient and effective data processing and handling within The Unlimited International.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, standards, and policies aligned with industry best practices and cost optimization goals.

Data Operations Oversight:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of data processing, data cleansing, data entry, data validation, and data quality control.
- Monitor data workflows and identify areas for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement measures to eliminate redundancies, streamline processes, and reduce operational costs.

Data Governance and Compliance:

- Establish data governance practices to maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, or industry-specific regulations, while optimizing costs.
- Implement cost-effective data security measures and access controls to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or breaches.

Data Enrichment:

- Implement data enrichment initiatives to augment existing data sets and improve the depth and quality of data available.
- Identify cost-effective data enrichment opportunities, such as leveraging third-party data sources, API integrations, or data mining techniques.
- Evaluate the cost-benefit ratio of data enrichment initiatives and ensure alignment with the organization's cost optimization objectives.

Challenging Data Suppliers:

- Identify and assess the quality and reliability of data suppliers and vendors while considering cost factors.
- Champion challenging data suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of accurate and reliable data at optimal costs.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to address data supplier issues, negotiate contracts, and optimize costs.

Process Optimization and Cost Reduction:

- Establish and enforce cost-effective data quality standards and methodologies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify cost-inefficient data anomalies, errors, and discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously assess existing data operations processes, workflows, and technologies to identify opportunities for optimization and automation with a focus on cost reduction.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement cost-effective data management tools and systems that enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
- Drive process improvements to meet or exceed client expectations, improve cost efficiency, and contribute to overall business growth

Reporting and Analysis:

- Generate regular reports and performance metrics to track data operations, identify cost trends, and present insights to management.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend data-related optimizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide actionable recommendations based on cost insights while maintaining data quality.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Management. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in data management or related roles, preferably within a BPO or outsourcing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of data management principles, including data governance, data quality, data privacy, and data security.
- Strong understanding of cost optimization strategies and methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high performance and cost efficiency.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, as well as familiarity with data management systems and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a strong attention to detail and cost-conscious mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to data operations and cost optimization.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines while considering cost factors.
