This is an exceptional opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects within the mining industry, taking the lead in coordinating tender processes, ensuring profitable contract execution, and mentoring junior estimators.

**Primary Purpose of the Role**: As a Senior Estimator, your main responsibility will be to collaborate closely with Senior Management, orchestrating and supporting tender/bid procedures and submissions. Your expert estimation skills will be pivotal in accurately assessing project costs and ensuring successful project delivery. Additionally, you will play a key role in training and supervising a team of junior estimators, fostering their growth within the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**: In this role, your duties will encompass a broad range of stimulating activities, including but not limited to:

- Coordinating tender/bid/feasibility studies
- Conducting comprehensive cost estimations
- Active participation in project teams, including management and supervision responsibilities

**Required Qualifications & Experience**: To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Mining
- A minimum of 8 years' experience as an estimator in an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management) environment, with a strong track record in successful project delivery
- Familiarity with document management software
- Previous experience with CCS (Construction Computer Software)
- Ability to interpret BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and accurately measure quantities from construction drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

**Advantageous Qualifications**: While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous:

- Advanced proficiency in MS Project
- Qualification in Contract Law, including familiarity with FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) and NEC (New Engineering Contract) standards

**Working Environment**: You will be based at the Head Office in Johannesburg, immersing yourself in a vibrant and collaborative workplace. Please note that occasional travel to project sites may be required to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the projects and effective coordination with the team.
