**Responsibilities**
- Define the project scope.
- Prepare construction estimates based on material takeoffs (MTO).
- Create and manage the project budget.
- Develop a construction project management plan.
- Negotiate contracts with general contractors and subcontractors.
- Establish a construction schedule with deliverables and milestones.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Manage resources, including materials and personnel.
- Coordinate resource logistics.
- Generate status reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager, and construction team.
- Obtain building permits and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Uphold health and safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- **Skills and Qualifications**:_
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in project management, including time management, budgeting, and scheduling.
- **Education and Training**:_
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- SACPCMP registered as the Pr.CPM
- Solid knowledge of construction management best practices.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Up-to-date with construction-related rules and regulations.
- **Work Experience**:_
- 5 years of project management experience in construction, including specialties such as infrastructure, roads, bridges, transportation, water management, pipelines, and treatment plants.
- Proven experience managing budgets and schedules.
- Experience overseeing construction sites and leading teams.
- Strong risk management experience in construction projects.
