**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Develop and maintain a database of banknote and coin counterfeit typologies for the company.
- Scan and analyse the international and domestic environment for counterfeiting risks and threats within the industry to inform reporting and decision-making.
- Provide an in-house forensics counterfeit analysis service by undertaking forensic analysis on counterfeits.
- Provide expert testimony on counterfeiting for law enforcement in ongoing counterfeiting cases.
- Provide advanced technical training and awareness on counterfeiting to law enforcement and industry stakeholders.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- A bachelors degree in Forensic Science, Chemistry or Applied Science or an equivalent qualification;
- Five to eight years relevant experience in forensics or comparable analysis; and
- A solid knowledge of currency counterfeiting, risks and threats especially in relation to forensic analysis and expert testimony.
