Midrand, South Africa ARB Electrical Wholesalers Full time

Responsible for all aspects of WMS systems administration including but not restricted to master data maintenance, user maintenance, bin location maintenance, interface management (between ERP and WMS), hardware maintenance, backup process, first line user support and liaison between ARB and WMS vendor. Acts as technical interface between WMS provider and ARB.

**CUSTOMER / STAKEHOLDER ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Liaison with DC management, Divisional manager Supply Chain, DC staff and WMS vendor personnel
- Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders as required

**OPERATIONAL PROCESSES ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**SKU Master Data Maintenance**
- SKU barcodes and label maintenance
- Pack size information maintenance
- SKU cube and weight data maintenance
- Reporting on supplier conformance to DC specifications

**Bin Master Maintenance**
- Bin master management
- Bulk and Pick face maintenance
- Ensure all bin labels are aligned to system, and labels scannable
- Assist with assessment of pick and bulk bins as required

**User Maintenance**
- Creating users, updating deleting as operations require
- Maintaining user functional access, and user set up on WMS
- Monitor user access and rationalise low frequency users

**Integration Management**
- Checking integration failures daily and escalating action as necessary
- Checking stock balancing on ERP and WMS
- Facilitating with DC management and Finance should adjustments be required
- Resubmit integration files if required

**Hardware maintenance and management**
- Accountable for all DC HHDs and ensure adequate maintenance, safekeeping and upkeep.
- Ensure that WIFI is operational and maintained
- Ensure all other related hardware: Printers, desktop computers is operational and serviced per required intervals
- Adding printers and scanners as required and configuration thereof.

**System maintenance**
- Checking system parameters eg RAM space availability
- Perform regular systems maintenance in compliance with Systems maintenance protocol guide. Escalate rectification as required.
- Act as key resources and intermediary between software provider and ARB for system upgrades
- Maintaining oversight of support infrastructure and ensuring fit-for-purpose
- Defining, refining and managing the WMS disaster recovery plan

**1st Line Support**
- Attend to all operational system queries, errors and support using transaction and process history
- Escalate queries to WMS vendor as necessary

**Reports and optimisation**
- Ensure process exception reports are escalated to DC management
- Bespoke reports as requested by DC and Supply Chain management
- Generate reports iro process optimisation
- Run bin utilisation and ensure operational
- Maintaining pick wave templates

**Business Analysis and Project Management**

Documenting related business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
- 9.2 Working closely with WMS, ERP and 3rd party vendors, in order to manage and drive opportunities, from requirements specification through to implementation
- Leveraging previous experience with Manhattan WMS in order to develop a future roadmap for ARB
- Managing small to medium sized WMS and non-WMS projects, as directed by Senior Management

**Preferred Qualification**
- Valid Grade 12 / Matric Senior Certificate.
- Diploma in computer programming/systems admin

**Essential Experience**

2-4 years experience in similar role

**Preferred Experience**
- Experience with Manhattan WMS
- Experience with previous WMS implementation
- Operational experience in large scale DC
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience in business analysis and project management
