IT Support Technician

**Responsibilities**:

- Resolve IT support requests from employees
- Train non-IT staff on computers and software
- Log all service requests and update tickets as needed
- Liaise with third-party service providers to resolve technical issues
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Maintain and upgrade computer systems and networks
- Repair and replace computer equipment as necessary
- Monitor and implement network and system security
- Website support and maintenance
- Document system configurations and technical processes
- Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to streamline workflow
- Provide guidance on computer system upgrades and new technologies

Skills and qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least two years of experience in IT support
- Knowledge of both Mac and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent support and training skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- IT Support: 2 years (required)
