**Introduction**: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a **Packaging Machinery Technician & Team Lead**. In this role, you will be responsible for handling, repairing, and adjusting packaging machinery on our sauce production line, which packages sauces and powders into small sachets. Additionally, you will be overseeing a team of workers who will hand-pack the sauces into cardboard cartons and sleeves. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in packaging machinery, food safety, and team leadership.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Packaging Machinery Maintenance & Repair**:

- Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust packaging machinery for sauce production lines, including sachet packing machines and related equipment.
- Ensure that machinery is running efficiently, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a high level of output.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and address mechanical issues proactively.
- Ensure all machines are calibrated and operating within food safety standards.
- **Team Leadership & Coordination**:

- Supervise and manage a team of workers responsible for hand-packing sauces into cardboard cartons and sleeves.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure that the team is meeting packaging targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for packaging, food safety, and quality control.
- **Food Safety & Health Compliance**:

- Adhere to all food safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure that the products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Enforce hygiene practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements within the production area.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and correct any potential food safety or health issues.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Suggest and implement improvements to packaging processes and machinery to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Keep up to date with the latest packaging technologies and best practices in the food manufacturing industry.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Proven experience (3+ years) in operating, repairing, and maintaining packaging machinery in a food production environment, preferably in the sauce or similar liquid/food product sector.
- Strong knowledge of packaging machinery, including filling, sealing, and sachet packaging systems.
- Experience in leading or managing teams, with the ability to motivate, train, and provide feedback to employees.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices, including HACCP, GMP, and other relevant standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve mechanical and technical issues quickly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification or formal training in mechanical engineering, food technology, or related fields.
- Experience with powder packaging or similar product types is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
