**Introduction**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier and Vendor Management
- Source and manage relationships with suppliers of fabrics, têxtiles, and other raw materials for clothing production.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and address any supply issues to minimize disruptions.

2. Production Coordination
- Oversee production schedules, ensuring manufacturing processes align with demand forecasts and delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with production partners (in-house or outsourced) to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Plan and manage production capacity to meet market demands and seasonal trends.

3. Inventory and Warehouse Management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods, and promotional items.
- Ensure the efficient management of warehouse operations, including stock control, receiving, and dispatching.
- Implement inventory management strategies to reduce waste and optimize stock turnover.

4. Logistics and Distribution
- Develop and manage distribution strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transport routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance.
- Oversee both local and international shipping operations and compliance with import/export regulations.

5. Demand Forecasting and Planning
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to forecast demand for corporate wear, work wear, and promotional items.
- Adjust supply chain strategies in response to sales trends, promotional campaigns, and customer needs.
- Implement demand planning tools and methods to accurately predict inventory requirements.

6. Cost and Budget Management
- Control and manage supply chain-related costs, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
- Prepare and manage the supply chain budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Track supply chain KPIs such as inventory turnover, cost per unit, and delivery lead times.

7. Quality Control
- Implement quality control procedures across the supply chain, ensuring materials and products meet Barron’s high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and prevent reoccurrences.

8. Sustainability and Risk Management
- Develop and implement sustainable sourcing and supply chain practices that align with Barron’s environmental goals.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as raw material shortages, production delays, and logístical challenges.
- Prepare contingency plans to manage supply disruptions and maintain business continuity.

9. Technology and Process Optimization
- Implement and oversee supply chain management software, ensuring it supports operations and data-driven decision-making.
- Use data analytics to track and improve supply chain performance and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Lead initiatives to streamline supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and enhance productivity.

**DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION.**

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the apparel or clothing industry.
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation, production management, logistics, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software in addition to MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of the apparel industry, including sourcing, production, and distribution processes.
- Understanding of quality control and sustainability practices in the clothing industry.

Key Skills and Competencies
- Leadership: Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and foster relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to secure favourable terms with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and identify supply chain inefficiencies.
- Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
