The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Vodacom Home & Youth segment marketing that drives revenue across these segments. Strong marketing experience in driving campaigns with direct revenue growth in the business, and achieving memorable & distinctive creative expressions that drive emotional connectivity with customers

The role will provide clear direction for brand communication across the key segments of growth for Vodacom and ensuring the integrated marketing approach is applied on all campaign. Key to this will be to ensure Vodacom’s home & youth segment proposition are leading in the marketing and positioned to drive revenue growth within these segments. This will include driving segment campaigns across main touch points, specifically retail, digital, TVC, radio, social and PR

Outputs for senior brand manager will be responsible for ensuring the Vodacom Home segment marketing is aligned with global approach and drive the segment proposition across all types of access layer technologies [Fibre, LTE, and fixed wireless access]. From a youth perspective, the senior manager will be responsible to drive strong innovative marketing that ensures that Vodacom increases market share within the youth segment through pushing key product priorities and increasing product proposition

**Your responsibilities will include**:
Leading youth & home brand marketing campaign strategy and implementation across all aspects of brand, by leading brand strategy management, implementation, and campaigns within the segments
Driving a monolithic and segment relevant campaigns that are anchored on long term architecture strategy to win market share
Driving youth & home brand metrics across the brand of being meaningfully differentiated, and increase brand performance, through strong brand metrics measurement
Drive improvement in messaging clarity and increasing customer ease of use across all touch points
Driving dynamic youth & home brand campaigns and ensuring Vodacom brand leadership communication principles
Driving youth & home segment communication across all communication platforms
Managing brand agency outputs and ensuring all partner branding guidelines are clear and principles are applied
Driving key brand principles across the business and ensuring the Vodacom brand principles are correctly applied at every touch points

Managing brand budget for the fiscal and driving financial administrative excellence in the team
Amplifying purpose pillars and upweighting the brand resonance through brand purpose pillars amplification & improvements
Brand identity management alignment (CI) and drive compliance on all guidelines
Training and marketing brand toolkits across the business to drive compliance
Manage and direct internal stakeholders to drive coherent brand expressions and align the business to a monolithic brand approach
Provide inspirational leadership and coaching across the Vodacom organisation, as well as external partners and agencies to enable delivery of marketing and commercial outcomes

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
3 years Strategic Brand or Strategic Marketing related Degree or National Diploma essential and
More than 8 years relevant experience in brand strategy management and strategic brand positioning across multiple brands
Brand & segment positioning campaigns experience to win market share
Experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple touch points
8 years’ experience at brand management or brand design agency

**Minimum of 5 to 8 years relevant experience essential in**:
Integrated marketing channels experience across all platforms
Creating a strong brand alignment approach in the business across multiple verticals, and infuse a culture that is drives brand resonance all business touch points
Creating and driving brand strategic plans to win market share from competitors and increase brand memorability
High experience in segment & brand management across different business verticals to ensure best in class brand consistency & presence.
Capable of working in a complex organisation and able to build strong relationships and credibility with multiple levels both internally and externally
