**Job title: Shop Assistant**

Our client in **Hermanus** is currently seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a **Shop Assistant**, focusing on **stock control, administrative tasks,** and **occasional heavy lifting**.

**Company Overview**: The company is a leading provider of high-quality irrigation equipment, serving the agricultural and landscaping industries.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Stock Control**:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock control.
- Receive, check, and organize incoming shipments of irrigation equipment.
- Update and maintain the inventory management system to reflect current stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock audits and assist in the reconciliation of discrepancies.
- **Administrative Support**:

- Provide administrative assistance to the sales and operations teams.
- Generate and update sales orders, invoices, and other relevant documents.
- Assist with customer inquiries, order processing, and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.
- **Heavy Lifting**:

- Safely and efficiently handle heavy and bulky irrigation equipment.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of merchandise.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and organization of products.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures when performing lifting tasks.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product information and assistance with product selection.
- Ensure a positive customer experience through excellent service.
- **General Maintenance**:

- Keep the shop area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist in maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.

This position is **in office **and is **full time, Monday-Friday.**
