Call Centre Agent

**Purpose**

As a telephone Customer Care Associate, you are an integral part of the customer relationship-building process of Belk by servicing our customers who are shopping on our website. You will have the critical responsibility of assessing the customer’s needs, providing answers or solutions to inquiries, solving order, and shipping issues, placing customer orders via our Order Management system, or successfully connecting customers with the

appropriate retail sales associates. If you have that telephone voice flair that elicits joy and a smile to those who hear it and have what it

**Prerequisites**
- A Clear Criminal and Credit record
- Neutral Accent

**Competencies**
- Grade 11 or Matric
- 0-6 Months of working experience.
- Good communication at all levels and an excellent command of English both written and spoken.
- Active Listening skills and Passionate about customer service
- Conversational, confident, and assertive enough to drive the conversation and Empathetic.
- Product knowledge and an understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Sales ability (where applicable) and objection-handling techniques
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot
- Professional and polite with a customer service orientation
- Adaptability and resilience
- Target-driven with high energy levels.
- Computer literate with good key board skills (Digital 24wpm)
- Attention to detail ensuring all legislative and compliance requirements are covered for each call; customer enquiry and details are understood.

Pay: R5 500,00 per month
