Senior Design Draughtsman

Diesel Electric Services is a turnkey energy solutions company with a 30 year track record in the industry. The company designs, builds, installs and commissions a wide variety of power generation and energy products. The company serves a wide range of industries, from telecommunications to mining. The company requires the services of a senior design draughtsman - mechanical, on a full time basis.

**Qualification**:

- Draughting certificate.

**Experience**:

- 5 years minimum, 10 years preferable.
- Must have a good understanding of mechanical fabrication and joining processes, sheetmetal, piping fabrication, mechanical assemblies.

**Skills**:

- AutoCAD.
- Inventor (beneficial but not required).
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

**Attributes**:

- Able to work with little/no supervision.
- Self-motivated.
- Able to work under severe pressure.
- Ability to balance high demand and requests from various departments.
- Ability to adjust to change in schedules with little notice.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.

The position is based in JHB with occasional travel, driver’s license required

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
