**Background
The Technical Support Services (TSS) Activity helps the USAID Health Office (USAID/HO) and the Regional Health Office (RHO) to problem-solve technical priorities and develop creative, innovative solutions to strategically allocate resources, strengthen connections with partners, and replicate best practices and efficient models. Through the TSS contract, Panagora augments capacity and provides technical, operational, and administrative support to USAID’s largest health portfolio. TSS provides advisors in response to USAID requests for strategic work with the Government of South Africa (Go v SA), implementing partners, and/or other entities, to further support HO staff members and teams to integrate creative solutions in routine work. TSS also provides international and local expertise for surge support, as needed, for USAID Program Cycle requirements, planning, development, outreach, communications, and HO human resource functions.

**Description of Position
Panagora seeks a Solutions Advisor to join the TSS Strategic Information (SI) team. The advisor provides project support for TSS activities implemented in Southern Africa. They work with one or more project managers to develop innovative products, processes, and systems, that support Panagora, USAID Health Offices, and/or PEPFAR implementing partners.

**Requirements**:

- A master’s degree in public health, administration, or similar discipline.
- Excellent work product design, formatting, and visual skills, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, typography, color, and interaction design; expertise with charting and other data visualization techniques.
- Comfortable working in teams as well as acting independently in the implementation of specific tasks, multitasking and prioritizing, working under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff, clients, and consultants.
- Experience with PEPFAR-funded, USAID, or CDC-implemented projects, and general knowledge and interest in the current HIV and tuberculosis situation in the Southern Africa region, desired.

**Responsibilities**:
- Analysis and Content Development- Synthesize complex problems and information into clear, digestible parts with the goal of facilitating its understanding and use by team members and Panagora’s clients.
- Create, review, and refine both written and visual project content and deliverables for a diverse audience, including process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, training slide decks, and work product summaries.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to find innovative solutions to programmatic and operational challenges.
- As the go-to content developer for assigned teams, be well versed in PEPFAR, USAID, NDoH and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in technical and/or coordination meetings to stay abreast of assigned team’s needs. Be prepared to contribute and provide direction to the team.
- Cross-Fertilization- When requested, review technical deliverables from other team members and provide timely feedback and recommendations for their improvement and dissemination.
- Serve as a resource to orient new staff and/or consultants to Panagora South Africa regarding strategic information needs, PEPFAR and NDoH indicators, data collection systems, tools, and approaches.
