This role is responsible for driving the EB and PS national brand & marketing strategy. The main focus is on developing and implementing integrated EB and PS marketing strategies that align with the banks’ business goals and values and driving business growth.

**Job Description**:
Key Accountabilities:

- Lead a Centre of Excellence (COE) for the brand & marketing disciplines in EB and PS
- Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive brand strategy that reflect the bank's business goals and values
- Manage the development and maintenance of the bank's corporate identity, including brand guidelines, messaging, visual identity, and digital content
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams, to ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints
- Working with the business units, advise and influence on most appropriate customer value propositions to accentuate the brand credentials
- Develop, advise and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align with the bank's business goals and target key audiences
- Take ownership of Digital Marketing COE for Everyday Banking and Product Solutions
- Develop marketing strategies that are tailored to local market needs and aligned with the bank's overall brand and marketing objectives
- Identify and manage sponsorships that align with the bank's brand and marketing objectives and deliver measurable ROI
- Manage campaign development and execution, including creative development, media planning, and performance tracking
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of brand and marketing initiatives, and provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management
- Own and direct media buying strategy, planning and implementation for EB and PS
- Manage a team of brand and marketing professionals, providing leadership, direction, and coaching to ensure successful execution of brand and marketing initiatives
- Be responsible for the generation of insights, through research and other means to inform the business, brand and marketing strategies
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices

Minimum Requirements

**Education**:

- Minimum B-degree (NQF level no.7) / Desired: Post Graduate Degree (NQF level no.8+)
- Masters degree or equivalent (advantageous)

Preferred Experience:

- 10+ years (Technical/Managerial) experience

Knowledge and Skills:

- Senior leadership experience
- Superior understanding of Business Operations Management
- Strategic planning and execution
- Superior understanding of Customer Service Management and the Brand and Marketing environment

Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies
