Excellent Meat Market is the origins of Excellent Meat as a company, operating since 1970 with four retail stores in Western Cape and an Online store. Excellent Meat Market is exclusively Halaal, stocking fresh lamb, beef & poultry. With a range of Value Added & Deli Products. The brand is established and well known in the Western Cape and is currently going into our 53rd year of Excellence

A Store Supervisor at Excellent Meat assist the team in keeping things in line and to ensure that our standard of Excellence is met at all times. Here is a list of your Duties & Responsibilities as a Supervisor.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining cash controls, purchasing and assisting in maintaining the store.
- To report back weekly on sales performance of the grocery stock department
- To complete the weekly staff time sheets, and new staff and forward information to the store manager for signature
- To help with the delegation of the staff in the store timekeeping - manage you own time and that of the staff
- Ordering spices from dry store and suppliers
- To assist with stock take in the store
- Support the manager in operations of the store and assistant with duties in his absence. Production - Cleanliness of the store - Overseeing the braai area - Ordering of groceries stock - merchandising.
- Ensuring that the weights are checked by the security at the till points
- Assist with Receiving
- Manage petty cash, vouchers
- Controlling of till floats and balancing of floats
- Leading / motivation of employees
- Maintaining customer service
- To ensure that customers are given the best service in store
- Driving through sales

**Skills Required**:

- Must have knowledge and expertise on Meat
- Retail & Butcher Manager Skills
- 3 - 5 years experience
- FMCG/Food industry background
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans
- High Level of Customer Service
- Knowledge of ERP Stock system

**Job Type**:
Full-time

**Traveling**:
Elsies River, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
