**Compliance**

*Ensure compliance to relevant HSE legislation and certifications.

*Maintain and improve HSE management policies and procedures.

*Ensure hazard identification and site safety compliance maintained.

*Make recommendations for further improvement and development.

*Schedule and conduct regular internal audits and report findings.

*Establish and maintain competent H&S Committee, including Fire Fighting and First Aid teams.

**Audit and Risk Management**

*Assist to identify possible risks, evaluating the risk and loss exposure.

*Develop and implement plans to correct or prevent risk/loss and audit the plan to ensure its effectiveness.

*Review accidents and incidents which occur and conduct site audits, reporting and managing the corrective actions.

**Injury on Duty and related Incident Management**

*Attend to and investigate all IOD incidents.

*Ensure timeous and accurate IOD reporting.

*Work collaboratively with departments to identify root cause of incidents such as spills, safety incidents, recordables and other related issues.

*Develop innovative initiatives to drive a safety-first culture and reduce IODs and/or new miss incidents.

*Identify PPE to prevent Health and Safety incidents and ensure PPE stock is ordered and distributed to employees.

**Training**

*Oversee and administer HSE training on site and document the training.

*Onboarding all new employees on HSE requirements.

*Develop and deliver post incident / new miss Toolbox Talks to mitigate future incidents.

**Environmental Management**

*Implement environmental management system and processes.

*Manage and ensure environmental health and safety compliance.

*Oversee environmental impact management.

*Ensure proper Waste Management.

*Manage Waste Water Treatment plant.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R18 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
